Wondr Medical,
Revolutionising Healthcare Communication
We facilitate the connection of medical professionals through our App and Web platform, Wondr Medical Rooms. The platform helped healthcare professionals create workflows, collaborate, share updates, and interact with both fellow medical practitioners and patients.
In addition, Wondr Medical promotes connectivity not only among medical professionals but also with medical devices, enabling real-time, high-quality image streaming. One of Wondr Medical's flagship features allows you to remotely collaborate on patient cases, enabling timely and life-saving decision-making as a team.
PROBLEM TWO
Inefficient communication in clinical trials can increase the cost of a trial by 15%
One of the biggest pain points in running a Clinical trial is patient adherence. Our aim was to create a patient version of the core product in which clients running clinical trials could speak directly to patients, organise checkins and share educational content. We created features around the base communication tool that encourage patient engagement. One key feature we developed was scheduled messages, this helped keep patients engaged by reminding patients exactly when to take their medication. Another was a multi-post feature which enabled Clients to reach out directly to individuals or groups of patient types.

PROBLEM ONE
With a critical shortage of device technicians. How do we better connect healthcare to share knowledge easier?
Expertise in medical imaging is scarce, leading many hospitals to face challenges in sourcing imaging specialists to operate their devices. Consequently, patients often have to travel to larger hospitals to receive specialized care, which increases the pressure and waiting times at these locations. To address this issue, we developed a solution that enables technicians to access imaging devices remotely, allowing them to diagnose issues without the need for an in-person visit.
This feature brings several additional benefits. Firstly, it facilitates live collaboration among doctors, enabling them to seek second opinions and make real-time decisions, ultimately enhancing patient care. Moreover, we have incorporated live training capabilities, which are conveniently stored on our platform for easy access. This accessibility ensures that training becomes more readily available, as medical professionals can access it from anywhere, enhancing their skills and knowledge in medical imaging

PROBLEM THREE
The NHS spend £120million on translations last year. Our aim was to create a slick and compliant translation tool.
The NHS serves a diverse population with people from various linguistic backgrounds. By providing a translation tool, we enhance accessibility for patients who may have limited English proficiency. This empowers them to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate diagnosis, treatment, and care.

At start-ups, vision is important and continuously changing.
At Wondr Medical, the head of Product and I, in conjunction with the rest of the product team created many future visions of the product based on real insights we had gathered. We understood that a vision is a dynamic concept, continuously adapting to new insights and business opportunities. It remains a journey without a final destination, driving our team's excitement for upcoming projects. Below is a recent sample of one of the visions we created, this looked two years ahead. Once this was agreed upon on a leadership level, we shared with the entire company.
